Our furniture is made to order to the agreed dimensions, finish and specifications. Please review these terms before confirming your order. Your Australian Consumer Law rights apply to made-to-order goods and are not excluded or limited by this policy.
Order confirmation and payments
Sending a website order request does not take payment or begin production. We usually reply within 1–2 business days to confirm the specifications, availability and collection or delivery arrangements before invoicing.
All displayed furniture and delivery prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. A 50% deposit on the total confirmed order, including delivery, is required before production begins. The remaining balance is due before collection or delivery. Production lead times begin when we confirm receipt of your deposit.
Change-of-mind cancellations and changes
Because each piece is made for your order, we do not offer a general change-of-mind return or cancellation right. Check dimensions, finish, access and specifications before approval. If you need to change or cancel, contact the studio as soon as possible so we can check the order’s progress and confirm what is possible in writing.
For change-of-mind cancellations, deposits are non-refundable once materials have been purchased, production has started or custom work has been undertaken. Deposits contribute to materials, preparation, design work and workshop time. Changes after production begins may incur additional charges, which we will confirm before proceeding.
This change-of-mind policy does not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law. If timing changes, contact us to discuss your order and available options; an estimated lead time does not remove your statutory rights.
Natural timber and finish variation
Grain, knots, texture and colour vary naturally between timber boards and handcrafted pieces. Photographs and screens cannot show an exact match for every finished item. Natural variation consistent with the agreed product description is part of the material’s character.
This does not excuse a manufacturing defect, an unsafe or unusable item, or a material departure from the agreed description or specifications.
Faulty goods and consumer remedies
If goods have a major problem under Australian Consumer Law, you may choose a refund or replacement. For a minor problem, we can usually provide a free repair within a reasonable time. If the problem is not fixed within a reasonable time, further remedies may be available.
We may assess the issue before providing a remedy. Contact us with your order details, a description and any useful photographs. We will arrange collection of faulty furniture that cannot reasonably be returned because of its size or weight. Reasonable return costs are reimbursed when a fault is confirmed. Original packaging is not required to raise a claim.
Delivery and approved returns
Please confirm access measurements and tell us about stairs or other delivery restrictions before finalising your order.
For an approved change-of-mind return, completed delivery charges are not refundable. Collection, restocking, repair or refinishing charges, and any allowance for condition or loss in resale value, will be explained and agreed before the return proceeds. These change-of-mind deductions do not override remedies for faulty goods.
